Aquarium can be made of glass or acrylic. Acrylic aquarium is not easily broken, lighter, shape varies but acrylic surface is more easily scratched and visually not as good as the glass aquarium.
Mini aquarium with a water volume of 2 to 3 liters does not require the glass / acrylic that very thick, enough with the size of 2 to 3 mm. The thickness of the glass does not affect the visual, the thicker acrylic will reduce visually.
